Self Exclusion Order
If you have concerns about the amount of money you are spending on gaming machines and wish to be excluded from the gaming area of any Pelorus Trust venue we have a legal process that enables our venue operators to ban you from playing our machines.
A Self-Exclusion Order is an agreement between an individual and the venue whereby, for an agreed period of up to 2 years, venue staff will prohibit the individual from entering the gaming area, and may instigate trespass proceedings, if necessary.
All Pelorus Trust Venue Managers can assist with the completion of a Self Exculsion Order for their venues. To do this you can:
- visit the venue and ask the Manager to complete a form with you; or
- download a form from this website, complete Section A and include your signature in Section B. You should then take it in to the venue, or send it by mail. (A list of all Pelorus Trust Venues and their addresses can be found under the Gaming Partners section of this website).
The Venue Manager will complete their sections of the form, and provide you with a copy (by mail if you have sent it in).
To effectively administer the Exclusion Order, the venue requires a clear, current photo of the person seeking self-exclusion. If you have any queries about this process, please contact the Trust office on (04) 589-0819
